  1. “May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face. And may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.” ― George Jung, Blow by Blow

A QUATRAIN FOR DAISY

Daisy was a strong lady

Who played a leading role

With Daisy’s  determination

She always met her goal

She set her sights on victory

Winning never to lack

Daisy was the smart lady

Who kept the wind at her back.

  1. Always keep your back to the wind to protect your lovely face.
Mine today is a quatrain with two extra lines after. It might get "removed" from dVerse?

Me too. Google has allowed me to post only as "anonymous" and sometimes not even then.  BTW, my poem is dark today, i also labelled as "Gothic" but I'm not sure it is that dark.  You might tell me a little about that too.

  9. Love the picture of a lady who has a strategy in doing things. Wind at the back means one is in better control. Enjoyed this Bev!
