MOTHER'S ADVICE
eyes of blue and golden hair
fetching smile
beware!
eyes of blue and ebony hair
come-hither gaze
take care!
eyes of blue and titian hair
pouty lips
don’t dare!
son, watch those girls
with their eyes of blue
plainly they’re all after you.
Another enjoyable write, Bev! :)

ReplyDeleteI guess Mother believes only us brown-eyed girls are to be trusted, then...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great take on the prompt!
Aren't you glad the word this week was blue and not brown?! Personally, my momma should have warned me about brown-eyed men. I learned a hard lesson there!!
DeleteNice. I am a brown eyed old gal. How should i write myself😊

ReplyDeleteI fell for Momma's first verse! :)
ReplyDeleteI like your bit of fun with this prompt. That mother sounds like a bit of a terror though. And I kind of wonder what sonny boy is like. 😀
