ROAREFIED

Quadrille Monday at dVerse
The key word is ROAR, and
we're limited to 44 words. I used
to have a mighty roar, but it seems
greatly reduced of late.

***************

My ROAR has become a whimper
My energy is spent
I’m left cowering in a corner
Wondering where it went

I’m moving!  Oh heaven help me
I am finding the going rough
Lost in the ROARefied dilemma of
WHAT TO DO WITH  MY STUFF!

  1. Oh, I love this! My Mama has always said "There are no good moves." It's always rough. But it's a season. And perhaps a good opportunity to rid yourself of some of that stuff. ;)

Hoping you get your energy - and your ROAR - back soon!

  2. I haven't moved for 23 years, and I hope to avoid it for the rest of my life. You captured it so well Beverly!

  3. Good luck with it. Hoping you have time to look through what you need to look through before discarding anything. In 2011 when I moved, after sorting through and keeping what I wanted (it was too much, in retrospect)I called a charity organization in to take the rest away. They were happy to do it.

  10. Love this. I can relate. I once moved and took only my clothes. It was so freeing. A family member moved in behind me. And was very greatful for it all.

  11. I wish you the best of luck with your move, Bev. I'm still hoping to move closer to my daughter, which should be the last move of my life having lived in our cottage for 20 years.

  12. I understand why my mother never moved.... she left it all to us, sorting through stuff. Hope you make it well.
