NEW BEGINNINGS

THE SUNDAY MUSE ... and I try to wean myself away from rhyme ...

she hung her spectacles on a branch

and lifted her face to the mist…..

a cool cleansing of  worries

sheltered by the tall trees

as if carefree and born anew

a new year, a new beginning

  8. Yes, that's what I do. Lift my face to the mist and feel the tiny particles on my face.

How noble to be extending a positive welcome, Bev! Hopefully 'something' should happen to bring us out of the doldrums of 2021!
