The Sunday Muse #128
Submitted October 5, 2020
Everyone planned for the space race
the space suits, the lift-off and all
intricate mathematics were involved
and posted on the war room wall
the astronauts were chosen with care
and spent much time to rehearse
victory was in their grasp
but alas the Monarchs got there first
"alas the Monarchs got there first" - ahahaha! Great!
ReplyDeleteNice one Bev
ReplyDeleteThank you for dropping by my sumie Sunday today
Much💖love
Oh, I love how the butterflies beat astronauts to space
ReplyDeleteIts seems the butterfly knows no boundaries..
ReplyDeleteAnd so they should have .... butterflies are magic which the Moon also has plenty of.
ReplyDeleteI love how the monarchs got there first. Nature has a wisdom that is higher than ours. This is beautiful Beverly!
ReplyDeleteUntil the last line I was reading as if a different type "space race", like a marathon or high school cross country. I am glad that you went to the regular, I was a part of that at NASA Houston as an Aerospace Engineer.
ReplyDelete..
... you have lived an amazing life.
DeleteRunning to catch up with the butterflies. :) It's difficult, even when not on the moon.
