THE PRIDE AND THE FLOCK

THE PRIDE AND THE FLOCK

“I’m King of the Jungle“, the lion roared.
“We rule the jungle, my pride and I.”
“Baaaa humbug", replied the lamb. "Everyone
knows pride goeth before a fall.  ‘Tis I
and my flock who rule the jungle.  We’re
the flockin’ greatest of all.”

So it continues, the age-old conundrum
as old as the tick of the clock……
who is it that rules the jungle…..
Is it the pride, or is it the flock?

  9. Some circular arguments are just so hard to resolve. But I do like that I can hear the lamb rolling her eyes in the tone.

ah, it's a difficult question to answer unless we take sides.

  11. I wonder of this is one of those unanswerable questions? But I'll take sides and say I hope it will be the flock. (Provided it's an educated, thinking flock.)
