A LIMERICK

Frank asks us to write a limerick,
a 5-line poem.   Who can stop at one?

There once was a girl named Sally
Who lived in the Silicon Valley
She took a big chance
And got some implants
And now she's called Silicone Sally.

   ***
There once was a fellow idiotic
Who kept company with animals exotic
When asked who he was with
His friends propagated the myth
"Who gnu?", they all said, "He's quixotic".

  2. Silicone Sally is very nice and unexpected and that quixotic idiot is right up there. :)

  3. In CA, when the topless joints sprouted, so did those silicone breasts--but they always seem silly to me, having lost their natural rhythm. And of course they felt like a hood ornament.

    1. You've given me the biggest laugh of the evening with the hood ornament comment, Glenn! Thanks!

  9. Silicone Sally was great. The turn around was great. The last line of the second is a great surprise too, "Who gnu, they said he's quixotic"
