Wedneday Scribblings and we're challenged
to consider found poems...erasure, blackout, etc.
Here's my very late and definitely sub-par attempt.

  3. "A+", Beverly. I don't think I will cut and past mine, its has a bit too much. Besides my HP scanner/printer dosen't scan any more.
Now what's wrong with Cadillacs? We drive them, ours is a 2011 with 141K miles, but it should get replaced after 20, 40 50K more. We try to buy them 2-3 years old with less than 30K owned and/or from LOL's (Little Old Ladies). My '98 Mustang GT Convertible with 49K retirement present from me was owned by a LYL .

    1. That's what we always did, buy the lease returns 3 years old. They still have left-over warranty too. Your car is new by my standards! I drive a 2000 Explorer, but only 85,000 miles, so I expect it to last me for as long as I drive!

  4. You never know what's really going on with some people. What looks like 24 carat might just be a spray painted veneer.

  5. I like it! And I love the houses in a row image. I don't know the street, but I know some like that. I always wondered if they bought the expensive cars because they couldn't afford an expensive house? At least have a nice drive? Or, like my horrid late father-in-law, getting the Cadillac was the goal he finally achieved.

    1. I think for some it's a status symbol, for some a phallic symbol, and for some just fulfilling a dream. "There are a million stories in the naked city" .... remember that old TV show?

  6. I think it's very well done, Bev! And gave us food for thought, too.

  7. I'm with Rosemary. Your found poem left us curious. Now I'm going off thinking about the difference between perception and reality.

  8. Good one, Bev. Leaves you thinking about how it would turn out if you expand on it.
