A blog for the midnight epiphanies and idle thoughts of a hopeless wordaholic.
It's Sunday Muse #146 and we're treated to a beautiful bit of digital art by Susie Clevenger, which spoke to me in an American sentence. Submitted to Poets & Storytellers United, February 6, 2021.
I hope you find your song my friend! Your poetry is always lovely! Praying your time of isolation will end soon enough.
As are we all.
Well, dear Bev .... this is a perfect combination of art and poetry.
Bravo BevHappy Sundaymuch love...
Hoping the song returns! Beautiful link between words and images.
Oh so true, perfect for the times.
I so hope your song returns soon. Thank you for writing such a profound truth in such few words.
Oh this is PERFECT. We are all caged birds right now. Wonderful!
Someone needs to let us out!
But Beverly, even in isolation you gotta watch the bird in the hand...
May come the day when animals are expected to follow the Corvid SOP too. That would be the day. Love your American haiku, Bev!Hank
I always think of the suffering of the Jews who were hidden for years in the war....helps me get a perspective on things.
Indeed.....especially little Anne Frank.
