INGLENOOK

Quadrille #128  I love me a fireside inglenook.  It seems to cast a spell and I’m soon lost in fantasy.  I hope you’ll forgive me for some tongue-in-cheek fun.

toasted feet

absorbing book

wine sweet

flames flickering

sleep o'ertakes

soon dreaming

fantasies ensue

sensuous scheming

strong arms

hot lips

feeling music

swivel hips

seeing myself

Scheherazade

mesmerizing

Greek god

he's enamored

I can tell

I've never

danced so well

  2. OMG! How wonderful is this?? To the moon and back as we have said so many times in our wonderfully long lives.

  4. That is quite the setting to get lost in a dream. A warm fire, a glass of wine and a tantalizing book to escape into.

  6. Haha, I love how you wrapped this up just as things were getting steamy! Nice passionate write by the inglenook.

  7. That is the most welcoming scene, Bev: ‘settled / In Inglenook / toasted feet / absorbing book’. It’s so easy to drop off by flickering flames, but such a shame when dreams are interrupted and we hit earth at 44 words!.

  12. Damn that phone... but dreams can be devious... maybe something would have changed for the worse.
