GEMINI
Gemini, Gemini
let me count the ways
star filled nights and sunny days
stormy weather and rainbows
just when I know who you are
you aren’t
carefree frolic and laughter
joys and happy ever after
until
dark and moody comes to call
immense displeasure over all
Gemini, Gemini
let me count the ways….
We may as well be twins ... follow each other everywhere. A great treatise / poem on the Gemini personality.
ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me, given our 3 hour time variance, that we frequently post one after the other.
DeleteKindred spirits ............
DeleteWonderfully done!
ReplyDeleteOK, now it let me in? Liked this Bev! 👍
ReplyDeleteA wonderful capturing of the true Gemini Bev and the rhyme is the icing on the cake!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carrie, it started without rhyme and then I lapsed into rhyming, as always happens to me! My brain is hopelessly programmed to rhyme.
Deleteuntil
ReplyDeletedark and moody comes to call
immense displeasure over all
Love that you acknowledge the frequent mood change and great rhyming Bev!
Hank
I keep reading this over and over--it feels like a good poem to recite.
ReplyDeleteThis read like a rhyme. Beautiful rhythm.
ReplyDeleteThat's us!
ReplyDeleteI like the Shakespearean spin you put on this, Beverly.
ReplyDeleteBeverly, I am one step behind you, "just when I know who you are you aren’t." Then it is usually to late to comment, but thank you for reading me. I've not been good the last few weeks.
ReplyDeleteI liked reading it, I should study up because I have neglected learning about the horoscope things.
..
Beautiful capture of the gemini spirit.
