Let’s wrest calm from Covid chaos,
you and I and all the rest
Our case rests on solid ground
Having said that, I rest my case.
Now I’m tired, and need some rest.

  2. You are SO clever with words. My brain feels fried today ~ maybe a poem will materialize tomorrow.

  3. Very clever, Beverly. Rest ore Wrest in each line and still makes lots of sense. We all need rest from the Covid.

  9. The only rest we really need is knocking Mr Covid on the head so we can have a peaceful night's sleep. As for the rest your poem is best.
