Speak to me Sister Owl of the dreamtime*
and the songline of my people.
Take me back to my belonging place,
to the everywhen before the stolen
generations of my clan. Fill the emptiness
in my soul. Sing me back to my beginnings.

Sing me back to my beginnings - beautiful
ReplyDeleteI cant tell you how much I love this, and how it resonates. I love every line - the dreamtime, the songlines, "take me back to my belonging place"........just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI like "belonging place." That says so much in.
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous Beverly! Sing me back to my beginnings, that really speaks to my heart!
ReplyDeleteWe all want to go back to our origins :( wish we could
ReplyDeleteOh, to go back to beginnings...I think we all have that yearning.
ReplyDeleteThis speaks to a particular emptiness--what are the hope lines that run through us?
ReplyDeleteSo deep...let that emptiness fill ...loved the last line so much!
ReplyDeleteI love how you really brought out that sense of 'oneness'...bravo!
ReplyDeleteI love to go back to my beginnings, most of them I have. Germany, England, Isle of Man. One's thoughts change when that visit is made. Mrs. Jim is France, she actually found living relatives still in the homeland towns. Good write!!
